Job Description Service Engineer for Product Line Gear Measuring Machines

Company Background

Wenzel is a world leading supplier for measuring solutions in the field of three Coordinate Measuring Machines, Gear Measuring Machines, CT Computed Tomography, Turbine Blade Measuring and Reverse Engineering. In China, Wenzel employs more than 60 people including a small assembly factory in Shanghai Qingpu Industrial Park.

In the niche market for Gear Measuring Machines, Wenzel is worldwide the number two supplier. Our standard gear measuring centers measure gears with sizes from 260 mm up to 4000 mm in diameter. In the fast growing market of China there are already more than 40 installations. For this product line of gear measuring centers we have 1-2 open positions for service engineers.

Job description:

Installation and service of gear measuring centers at customer side and provide application training to the customer. In the beginning, focus will be on installation and service. In the second stage, the company will provide training on application.

Requirements:

University degree in mechanical engineering or similar

l
Good command of English language

l
2 – 5 years work experience

l
Stationed in Shanghai

l
Willing to travel extensively all China

The suitable candidate has background in one of the following fields

n
Manufacturing of Gears

n
Service engineer for CNC machine tools & equipment that are used in the manufacturing process of gears.( Deutsch: Werkzeugmaschinen)

n
Service engineer for three coordinate measuring machines or gear measuring machines.

Career perspective

Develop into Gear Measuring Machines Service and Application Engineer

l
Travel abroad to other Asian countries for service jobs

Salary:

Negotiable, depending on qualification and work experience

Work Experience:  
I have served for ZF ( a leading company in marine fieled) for one year. My major responsibility is communicating with Germany and italian engineers in professional aspect. Of course,  My job content is related to manufacturing and inspecting gear( spur and helix). What is most interesting is that I also communicated Italian Wenzel Engineer. Because my company purchased your company machine, 3-dimensionlal machine.Additionally, during communication with the Wenzel engineer, I also knew some basic operations about 3-dimensional machine.

Qualification: I have passed IELTS with 6 scores. College diploma in mechanical design and manufacture.
