The maximum circular runout is for gears with a minimum backlash in mm equal at least to the sum of 0.045
plus 0.018 times the gear module. Exceeding this runout requires increasing the minimum backlash. If the
backlash is less than the calculated minimum, runout must be proportionally reduced. For gear tooth
thickness checked with a master the minimum backlash may be reduced to zero, but this is not recommended.
