FEA-Finite Element Analysis

FEA为有限元分析的简称，格里森软件中的FEA即为以前的T900

T900 is a gear strength analysis program based on the finite element method.  The T900 program combines two Gleason computer programs, T901 and T902, into a single program and adds many new features not previously available.  Although T900 is a single menu driven program the functionality of the original programs T902 (pre-processor) and T901 (post-processor) are retained as menu option buttons in T900.  Some of the new features include

·    Simplified menu interface for input and output

·    Direct linking to T2000 Special Analysis Files and CAGE4WinTM   Special Analysis Files

·    Runs on desktop and portable Pentium computers (WIN95, 98,NT, 2000,XP)

·    User definable finite element mesh

·    Interactive graphics input and output

·    Large variety of stress analysis options

·    Analysis of bevel and hypoid gear designs using 5-cut, Duplex-Helical and 3-axis generating methods for both coast and drive side analyses

·    Motion error analysis for both loaded and unloaded tooth contact patterns

·    Rear-axle simulation program for calculating E, P, G and Alpha

·    Compatible with Three –Section CAGE4WinTM UMC TCA output

With these new features, the T900 program provides the gear designer with a highly flexible and efficient program for analyzing stresses and deflections in bevel and hypoid gear teeth.
